WEATHER CONDITIONS:
We are in the west and the weather can be very unpredictable. With this in mind we recommend you to be prepared for temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s in the early hunts with the mornings being very cool.
During the later hunts, be prepared for anything from 60 above to minus
20 degrees. Rain, sleet, snow or hail can happen during the same 5 day hunt, so please come prepared for anything.
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
There is a lot of open country on the ranches, so good optics is a must. Spotting scopes are optional and would be used more on the antelope hunts. Please bring good quality stands, blinds, and range finders.
GUIDES:
Again this is a semi-guided operation, but our guides know the land and the animals that inhabit it. They will know their feeding patterns, bedding and roosting areas, travel patterns and watering holes. We like to give our knowledge of the area and the animals to our hunters, as well as our recommendations for your success, but as we have said throughout this website the final decision on how and where to hunt is totally up to you.
Our guides will assist you with field dressing and retrieval of your trophy, as well as getting in into town to the cooler. They will assist or help you to the degree you wish.
