I was fortunate enough to spend Thanksgiving at Solitude Ranch with my son Keaton. In the four days we were there we had snow showers making a beautiful place illuminate with enchantment. The timbered ridges glistened in the sun giving off an aura of peace and serenity. The numbers of Merriam turkey and Whitetail deer residing on the ranch was amazing. And to watch them dancing in the snow was a sight to behold.

Keaton was the proud owner of deer and turkey licenses and I was able to watch my twelve year old fill them both. It was the type of memory that burns into your mind and lasts forever. Solitude Ranch is most definitely a jewel hidden in the shadow of Devils Tower. And a place I shall return to.
